Laundry Date Day Buffalo

What could possibly be more romantic then the soft hum of the metallic dryers along side the the swish swish swishing of the washers that lined the aisles of your average laundromat? Not much in my option! LOL

Taking average weekly chores or basic daily tasks and turning it into something more is what I strive to find in my couples sessions. Doing something together that isn’t normally documented and capturing it becomes more of an art story than just a pretty picture. Dont get me wrong though, I live for pretty pictures, but its something about creating more of a memory that is important to me. Must be all of the artsy fartsy classes I took in college. :D

I challenge you to think of something mundane to do with your partner and lets turn it into something heart racing. Hanging laundry out to dry, planting flowers, or going for a bike ride! Anything you can think of. Lets create some magic together <3

Bri + Erin

Many of you remember Erin and Bri from that Ollcott engagement session that was posted a while back. Well, the time has come to share with you their wedding. When they had originally contacted me, they were to be married in a small venue outside of Franklinville. They booked Seventh Arrow as their wedding photographer with that venue in mind, a few months go by and I was delighted to find out their wedding venue was changed to Holiday Valley because a wedding date had opened. They jumped at the chance, and boy are we happy they did. The vest options for photos at Holiday Valley for a wedding photographer are amazing and unique, unlike other venues. A photographers dream. We are so happy that Seventh Arrow was invited to join the preferred vendor list there. 

Back to Erin and Bri, these girls were the best, and they were truly truly in love. We loved capturing them as they love made us "sing" and dance. Lets just say, our jobs were not that hard that day. They wanted to do something unique for their first look. We knew just the answer. Polaroids. Now, they have that moment captured in a keepsake. You know right away when you meet a couple for the first time that you will have the best time shooting their engagement photos and at their wedding. This was the case for these girls at there Ollcott engagement session! 

Meeting online, traveling to be together, this same sex couple shares a true love that radiates off of them! They took me to the first place that they had there first date almost two years ago, where Bri used to work. The place will always be special to them and now, after this engagement session, they will have this memory as well.
